I was born in Woodland Hills and grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley. After graduating from Saugus High School, I moved to Orange County to attend the University of California, Irvine where I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology and graduated Cum Laude. While at UC Irvine, I participated in research studying the peripheral nervous system and new treatment methods for neuromuscular injuries.
I continued on to receive my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry. After graduating dental school, I went on to complete my residency at the Veterans Hospital in Long Beach, California where I received advance training in general dentistry including dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, and root canal therapy.
I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Gillian. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, fishing, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
My goal is to create long-lasting patient relationships that are based on trust, honesty, and quality care. I am dedicated to help you achieve the highest level of dental health, on a comfortable timeline that best fits your schedule.
There is no universal plan that will treat every patient's concerns. I strongly believe that it is important to work with each patient to develop the best treatment plan for each unique situation. When creating this plan, the first step is to always listen my patient’s concerns and understand their goals. Once I know where the patient stands, I will be able to best tailor your treatment options to achieve those goals. It is very important that my patients are well informed on each of the treatment options that are available to them, and I encourage all of my patients to ask as many questions as possible so that we can move forward with the best treatment plan possible.
I understand that going to the dentist makes some people feel uncomfortable. My philosophy has always been to treat my patients with the same care that I would like to be treated with, and I pride myself on making my patients as comfortable as possible. I believe that treating people with care and making sure that they know all of their options makes for a better dental experience and relieves some of the anxiety that some feel when visiting the dentist.
